moving to scotland was one of the best things we ever did.I did find it hard in the begining but steve loved it here straight away.He loved his job so much and was really proud of what he had achieved it is so sad that he is not here to see the job through to the end.Whenever we had visitors come to stay he would take them round the site to show them (whether they wanted to go or not)he was so proud.I have some wonderful memorys of our time together here and for that i am thankful.I will always remember the day steve came home from work(at ely)and said that dave had asked him if he wanted to run a site for him up in scotland i thought he was joking or that he had gone a bit mad but he had a big smile on his face how could i say no i am so glad i didnt.my most vivid momory of steve at work is him in his hard hat,yellow jacket,fag in his mouth and his mobile phone stuck to his ear and of cause his best known saying alright mate!!! Thanks dave for giving us the opportunity i know he appreciated the chance you gave him and the trust you put in him.
